Objective:

India is a land of languages and dialects, which truly depict the cultural diversities of our civilization and heritage. Language is the face of any civilization. All civilizations should remain and not be ravaged by modernization.

Many of these languages and dialects are losing their ground and disappearing fast. There is an urgent need to preserve the treasure trove by involving the youth and experts.

With the technical advancements it is possible to conserve, preserve the remnants of bygone era.

Center for Linguistic studies encourages the students and teachers in India to make efforts to resurrect through digitization and sharing it with the world.

CLS organizes programs in this direction.

“ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೇಂದ್ರ”

ಹೊರನಾಡ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಮೇರಿಕೆಯ ವರ್ಜೀನಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿರುವ “ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೇಂದ್ರ” ವೇದಿಕೆಯು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹಸಿವನ್ನು ನೀಗಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಿದ್ದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ “ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವ” ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು, “ಅನಿಕೇತನ”ತತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಂಚುವ ಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದೆ.

ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ,ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ,ಛಂದಸ್ಸು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳ ಬಗೆಗೆ ಅರಿವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿಶ್ವೈಕ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.
